In what materials do you supply castings?

All Steel Alloys, Copper Alloys, Gun metal

What quantities can you supply?

Any number from one-off to thousands. Process and pattern equipment/tooling is produced to suit numbers and frequency of call off. Fully discussed at enquiry and prototype / first off stage.

Can you supply machined castings?

We can supply raw, proof machined and fully machined castings.

Which surface finishes can you provide?

Castings can be supplied in the natural state or with a variety of surface treatments such as anodizing, plating, Painting or lacquering.

Have you a recognized Quality Assurance Certificate?

We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 QA System. Along with PED, W0,

Is Heat-treatment facility in-house?

Yes, all major heat-treatment which adhere 1180ºC are processed in house facility, higher Temperature range will be outsourced from Approved supplier.

How Do you check Chemical composition of a metal?

Each heat chemical composition being checked by Optical spectrometer before pouring.

Are you prepared to operate a supply system?

Where a customer has a regular repeating requirement, we are happy to operate Kanban or Traffic Light systems to ensure continuity of supply.

Can you use our existing tooling equipment as it is?

Where a customer has existing tooling, we will usually be able to use it to produce the required castings. However, it may require some modification in some instances to fit in with production methods.

Can you supply test certificates relating to the castings you supply?

Letters of conformity, certificates of analysis and test certificates can be issued relating to all castings if requested in the order. Those which require test bars or test coins to be manufactured and processed will, however, incur a cost.

Can you provide trace-ability if required?

We are providing the Heat number as a traceability of the casting.

Can you undertake a fixed delivery schedule?

Fixed delivery dates and schedules can be adhered to if agreed and stated on the order.

Can you supply first article inspection?

First article inspection reports will be issued to a customer, when requested but this may incur a cost for extra testing than mandatory requirements of applicable standard.
